POST HUMAN

Set against the backdrop of a modern-day dystopia—a world engulfed in war, climate crises, social divides, and reversals of hard-won progress—Post Human presents a collection of images that probe the meaning of humanity in the digital age. This anthology showcases works by selected artists as they grapple with what it means to be human amid rapid technological advances, exploring how they navigate their creative landscapes in light of the challenging world we inhabit through the medium of photography. Whether through literal or abstract, digital or analog interpretations, Post Human offers a visual narrative that captures each artist’s unique vision of their world, dreams, and reality.

These artists bring their full perspectives into their work, articulating their beliefs, social positions, and storytelling styles in ways that reflect both their individuality and their times. Through powerful visual storytelling, they illuminate their values, anxieties, and hopes.

Amid a sea of information and misinformation, technological acceleration, cultural clashes, political shifts, isolation, and provocation, we often feel like “deer in the headlights.” Post Human seeks to capture this tension. This anthology of images doesn’t just depict the present; it seeks to anticipate the paths we might take, offering glimpses into potential futures through each artist’s eyes and identity.

Siilk Gallery provide a platform for international photographers who are underrepresented in the traditional art world. Through curation, interviews, and exhibitions—both globally and in our online publication—we showcase compelling photography that deserves to be seen.

Our mission is to highlight bold and influential emerging visual artists from underground and alternative scenes worldwide. We seek talents whose work is shaped by their unique attitudes and lifestyles, celebrating independent artistry that challenges norms. Our goal is to immerse audiences in powerful, thought-provoking, and visually striking imagery.

At SIILK GALLERY, we curate work that is progressive, provocative, and unapologetically contemporary. We champion artists who push boundaries—those who are incendiary, seductive, and unafraid to disrupt artistic traditions. Above all, we stand for originality and free expression, rejecting banality and the commercialization of creativity.
